Our Mission
Our mission is to positively impact the kids, teens, and adults in our community who have a passion for the beautiful game of soccer by providing friendly soccer tournaments and life-enriching opportunities to players of all ages and playing abilities. We strive to create a lifelong passion for the sport of soccer and to help raise the level of soccer in our city, our state, and our nation. We strive to play an active role in the leadership, development, and personal growth of our players. Our ultimate goal is to encourage, inspire, and empower each player to be able to reach the highest level possible within the game and in life while helping create leaders and individuals that will inspire others to do the same.
Our values
L.L.U. strives to provide the best possible soccer experience and training environment for our players, coaches, and parents. Soccer will be used to instill the qualities of ambition, leadership, teamwork, respect, service to others, and the pursuit of excellence. Our team
julio medrano
Born in Mexico, Julio Medrano has a natural-born passion for the beautiful game of soccer. Living in Columbus for the last 30 years, he's developed a love for the Columbus community and wants to provide an opportunity to the youth of our city a chance to be a part of a family that teaches respect, honor, fairness, and discipline.
BRYAN DOYLE
Bryan has been with LLU since the beginning, overseeing all the administrative functions in the office. He directly handles all financial matters such as billing, accounts payable, and banking. She oversees the LLU website, and the LLU tournaments, and is responsible for the supervision of all administrative staff.
hamid shariff
Hamid Shariff is a graduate of Heidelberg University, where he was a four-year starter on the men's soccer team. After graduating with BS in Exercise Science, Shariff continued to get his Union of European Football Associations coaching defree in Spain. He competed on several professional teams across the glob in North America, Dubain, and Spain.
jimmy galvan
Jimmy Galvan graduated from Ohio Christian University and played soccer throughout his entire college career. After graduating, Jimmy focused on his career and family, still keeping soccer as a side hobby. Today, we are proud that he heads the children's team.
